Today is September 11th and is a “National Day of Service and Remembrance” that Congress has designated as “Patriot Day”. We remember and honor those who lost their lives on this day in 2001.
6th graders on their first day of school last week participated in an assembly and activities put on by our 8th grade WEB leaders! They played games, toured the school, and went to each of their classes to learn the ropes. Thank you WEB leaders for giving your time and energy! We are enjoying getting to know these new 6th graders and settling into this new school year.

From one of our local pharmacies: Sultan Pharmacy & Natural Care is now providing Moderna Covid vaccines. Please tell customers to call and make a reservation to receive one if they would like. We will also be providing the flu shots starting the end of the month so the vaccine covers the end of the flu season as well. Flu shots right now would not cover the end of the flu season.
Picture Day is September 11th! Plan ahead and be sure to be here so you can receive your student ID card.

As of: September 5, 2024 11:11 AM
-Water Main Break-
A water main break has occurred, affecting residents living off Sultan Basin Road. This has resulted in a temporary loss of water service for those in the impacted area.
Our Public Works crews are on-site, working diligently to restore service as quickly as possible. We understand the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we resolve the issue.
Please stay tuned for updates, and thank you for your understanding as we work to get water service back online.
**Sultan School District was told this will not affect Sultan schools. If we hear any updates, we will share them right away.**
For the upcoming school year students will be leaving their school-issued laptops at school. This will reduce the number of broken and damaged laptops and ensure that laptops will be ready and charged for the student's success each day.
Students will collect their laptops in their first period of each day.
At the end of the day students will be excused 3 minutes early, ( 2:34pm), to head back to their first period class to plug in their laptops. Students will stay there until the final bell at 2:37pm.
Since 6th graders have their electives for first period and the electives rotate each day on an A/B schedule, 6th graders will plug their laptops into the first period elective they have for the following day. For example:
6th grade will pick up their laptop in 1st period A elective and plug in their laptops at the end of the day in 1st period B elective.
Call our office with any questions at 360-793-9850.
It was brought to our attention that we had 6 pm as the start time for tonight's special meeting budget hearing. The special meeting budget hearing starts at 5 pm. The business meeting will occur at 6 pm as normally scheduled. Thank you!
