AVID

My name is Quinn Lambert, and this is my third year teaching at Sultan Middle School. I grew up in Snohomish County and attended Washington State University for my undergraduate degree and Grand Canyon University for my graduate degree. I currently teach English Language Arts and have taught Social Studies in past years as well.

AVID is an amazing program that fosters student skill development and personal growth while preparing them for success in college. When the opportunity arose to teach AVID at Sultan Middle School, I was very excited to apply for the position. I gained a lot of experience with AVID while I student taught with Kimbra Smith, who has been a great mentor of mine at Sultan Middle School. I saw that the program offered students chances to be successful in their preparation for college readiness and knew that this was the type of program I wanted to teach within. AVID is an amazing learning experience for students that helps them develop lifelong skills!

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching WSU football and basketball, The Seahawks, and The Mariners. I love to spend time with my family, read, play golf, stay active, and enjoy various outdoor hobbies.
